About Relief Care For You

History: Here is a little background about the Home Healthcare industry. The population of aging individuals requiring assistance, care, and supervision has grown significantly. Therefore, the need for Home Healthcare services has become crucial, consequently requiring more agencies to help with this increased demand. Before 1970, Home Care focused on the acute care needs of patients in their homes. These community programs were organized through agencies like Victoria Order of Nurse and Red Cross. In 1970, some provinces began to formulate a wider vision for Home Care. Supportive care for frail elderly and those with disabilities was added to acute care. In 1974, Home Healthcare delivery had changed, by having agencies providing continuing care for seniors in their homes.

Vision: Provide care needed for aging seniors, support them when they are sick. On a long-term view, we want to take away the worry of having dependent loved ones. We want families to understand that they are not forgotten with their family responsibilities. They are not alone. We will stand for the seniors and make sure that they receive the good care they deserve. Having a dependent parent becomes a serious problem nowadays. Our vision is to help the seniors through their journey and lessen the weight they represent to their families. In addition, some seniors want to live in their homes till the end. They do not want to be in long-term care facilities. We want to give them hope to be safe in their homes.

Mission: We are here to provide you relief by taking great care of your loved ones. For us, it is not a job it is a passion. Our mission is to give relief to family members who have the duty to help their loved ones. These seniors become dependent as they get older for most of them and need assistance. They lost their capacity to carry out their daily activities. They are not safe living alone. These seniors need help. Many of them are on the waiting list to be accepted in long-term care facilities. The growing number of aging populations surpassed the number of beds available to them in these facilities. Therefore, we decided to help these seniors by making services available to them in their homes. This action is crucial because the adult children or family members have their own occupations, families, and their own problems to solve. It is important to us to step in for their peace of mind.
