Personal Support Worker (PSW)

​

A - Assist clients with personal care, including washing, getting dressed etc. 

​

B - Assist with meal preparation and where required, follow-through of the prescribed dietary plan and, if necessary, assistance with eating, including washing up of required dishes, etc. Watch them take their meds, not assist them.  

 

C - Do the laundry as necessary for the client's cleanliness, such as personal items of clothing, towels, linens, bedding, etc. (We are not a cleaning service for curtains, carpets, cupboards, etc.)

Home Support Worker (HSW)

​

A - Offering client companionship and mental stimulation where possible to help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation. 

 

B - Assist with, personal hygiene, snacks, and light meals.
